\nThis Sunday, June 19, 2011 Curls Studio will be appearing at DC Comicon from 10 AM to 5PM.<\/p>\n

Following up on last-year’s inaugural DC Comicon at George Mason University, the promoter of the VA Comicon and the promoter of the Baltimore Comicon have once again joined forces to bring the largest, most important, most FREE show to our fine nation’s capital.<\/p>\n

Located at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA the DC Comicon will be a collection of the regions finest comic books from the 1940’s to present, along with the industry’s top talent… all donating their time to bring the best comics and talent* to Washington DC for FREE!<\/p>\n

Featuring Frank Cho<\/span> (Award-winning illustrator and writer of Liberty Meadows, Mighty Avengers and more!), Jim Starlin<\/strong> (creator of all things Thanos and Infinity), Todd Dezago<\/span> (the current Casper relaunch, Tellos, Amazing Spider-man, etc), Larry Hama<\/span> (The “Godfather” of GI Joe, and creator of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow) along with his illustrator on the current GI JOE series, SL Gallant<\/strong>… signing with Mr. Hama for the first time!<\/p>\n

We will have a handful of select creators representing the finest regional small press creative offerings, including:

\n\u2022 Daniel Ross<\/span>, one of the stars of the Ninja\u2019s Vs. Zombies movie and the voice of StarScream in the Transformers Video Games

\n\u2022 Dan Nokes<\/span> (21st Century Sandshark)
\n\u2022 Claton Murwin<\/span> (Heroes Fallen Studios)

\n\u2022 Chris Otto<\/span> (A Dog\u2019s Life)
