Hi! It’s been awhile. Hasn’t it? Have you missed me? Well, I’ve been busy, that’s for sure. Even though I have not updated Curls as much as I’d like to, please know that I’m always working. Or literally at work and commuting. Or working on freelance or other projects. There’s also life stuff. Oh yeah, life!
It felt good to make a new Curls comic strip today on 9/11.
Curls isn’t going away anytime soon, but I am taking this opportunity to tell you my focus right now is on finishing The Legettes #2. This comic book has been waiting for a long time and I would like to finish this issue properly. Part of what takes me away from creating this book is working on other things like anthologies (Mine!, Cartoonists Draw Blood, Magic Bullet), small projects and challenges (creating a print for Fairfax Comic Con, Inktober, Make 100, Podcember), attending conventions, and overall exhaustion.
Speaking of conventions, I’ll be at SPX (E4), Baltimore (Kids Love Comics Section), and NYCC (Booth #1162). I hope to see you in-person soon.
