I had to do this idea I’ve had in my brain for a few months because it came together so perfectly and didn’t want to miss the chance if I never got around to drawing it. At one point it was going to be Rock, PENCIL, Scissors, but I decided to keep it more traditional so people won’t get confused (although I think it can go both ways for wrestling fans and I won’t have to explain it). I’ve been having a good time occasionally sneaking in a moment or two to watch AEW. Jade is my favorite and she is stellar. Should also not fail to mention it’s no secret that Sonjay Dutt is a friend of Curls Studio and Joe Carabeo for a long while since the backyard wrestling days (check out the “Best of Backyard Wrestling” DVDs to see the action). I feel like he is making some of the best work of his life and it shows how much fun they are having. Congrats to all involved in making AEW happen!
